Evansville Central Contest

Marching Tigers Season Opener!

Beginning Saturday, September 10th, the Marching Tigers will open their season at the Evansville Central Invitational! Below you will see the listed itinerary for the day of the contest. All members must be on time and ready for rehearsal and departure as listed below. Please make sure that you eat before rehearsal and bring a small sack lunch/water to eat before departure. Each member must be in their show shirt to load the bus. All members must travel to the contest by bus with the rest of the group. If you elect to leave after the competition without taking the bus, you must ride with your parent and must provide written documentation that must be turned into Mr. Salmond. Students may not leave with anyone other than your parent/guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS! THIS IS REQUIRED BY THE SCHOOL CORPORATION’S LIABILITY POLICIES!

We will be competing in Class AA beginning at 6:00 p.m. Gates open at 4:00 p.m.

11:30 Report Time for Rehearsal
1:45 Dismiss rehearsal. (Load equipment, hydrate, food)
3:00 Leave PCHS for Evansville Central High School (Show shirts ON)
4:00 Arrive at Evansville Central (unload equipment, restrooms, snack, uniforms on)
5:15 Transit to Music Warm-Up Area
5:37 Begin Warm Up
6:01 Transit to Field for Performance
6:30 Load equipment, get out of uniforms and back in show shirts.
7:15 Awards for Class AA.
7:30 Score recap at buses.
8:00 Depart for PCHS
9:00 Return to PCHS and unload equipment. EVERYONE HELPS!

As we begin our competitive marching season, please remember that we are always competing against ourselves first and foremost. Trophies and awards look great but working hard and improving as a group is always most important. If we always try to make ourselves better, than success will follow suit.
