At ISSMA District Marching Band Contest at Jasper Football Stadium located on Jasper Middle School grounds in Jasper, IN on September 29, 2012.
Times indicated on this schedule are on Central Standard Time. (Jasper is on Eastern Standard Time.)
If you are new to band this year, the performance is not at the High School, but at the football field which is on 2nd Street. The area near the stadium is closed off for the contest so you will need to park a little far and then walk to the stadium. There are signs all around to help direct you to parking areas. Please do NOT park at the mini-golf / go-cart place as they have been known to tow people in the past.

Also, an excellent post on Indiana Marching by Randy Akers , the Director at Heritage Hills that EVERYONE, students, parents and staff, should read. These are things to keep in mind as you watch bands this Saturday. http://www.indianamarching.com/community/forums/index.php?topic=12209.0
Also, please read this link http://www.indianamarching.com/features/2011/10/06/a-laymans-guide-to-issma-events/ – above all DO NOT POST SCORES.
Per ISSMA
It is also important to note, ISSMA policy prohibits scores from being released publicly, including in newspapers, broadcast media, online, or otherwise. Scores are to be used for evaluation purposes only and are provided only to unit directors at the conclusion of all events.
ISSMA events are District, Regional, Semi-State and State
As a refresher, there are no placements at Districts. You are either rated a Gold, Silver, Bronze or participation. If a band achieves a Gold, they go on to Regional Competition.
Also, please remember that everyone must keep quiet once we are in the parking area at District. My Hyneman will go over all the rules with the marchers but if, as a parent, you stop by the parking area, please remember that quiet rules are in effect for the duration we are there as we can be penalized for extraneous noise.
