Great job at District!!!
Our goal this week:

HIT 60!!!

SCHEDULE:
7:00am Report to band room for rehearsal
8:30 Load equipment.
9:00 Load buses
9:15 Leave for Mount Vernon
10:00 Arrive at MVHS
11:00 Be dressed and assemble for warm up/march to warm up
11:20 Warm up

12:00 Performance
12:15pm Change out of uniform/load equipment
1:45 Awards
2:15 Load buses
2:30 Leave for PCHS
3:45 Arrive at PCHS – change/unload all equipment

No one is dismissed until ALL equipment is unloaded and all buses are clean.

If you will be traveling from the event other than by school bus, I must have a note from a parent and they must be present for your dismissal. You may not leave with anyone other than your parental unit. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! School liability will permit nothing less.

A Medley of Messages

We have several little tidbits to pass on to you today.

First up is Mr Hyneman’s band, Twotone Express. They are playing at the Evansville West Side Nut Club Fall Festival Friday from 8pm to 11 pm and EVERYONE IS INVITED!

Next, the schedule for next week. We’ll have a FULL BAND PRACTICE on the following days:

Monday, Oct 10 6-9 pm

Tuesday, Oct 11 6-9 pm

Thursday, Oct 13 6-9 pm

Friday, Oct 14 is fall break. We will rehearse on Friday, 1pm – 4pm. We’ll break for dinner (provided by boosters) and then be dressed for the ballgame/senior night by 6pm.

There will also be a Booster meeting on the 11th at 6:30pm in (or around) the band room.

Our last exciting bit of news is regarding Regionals. Mr. Hauger has generously offered to take a fan bus up to Center Grove ( just South of Indy), but we need to get a head count as an idea to see if there is enough interest before Wednesday, the 5th!
